Proof of Vaccination Required to Dine Indoors

As of Friday, August 20th, the city of San Francisco requires PROOF of vaccination against Covid-19 to dine INDOORS as stated in the updated health order.

Acceptable Proof of Vaccination

  • Physical Vaccination Card
  • Picture or scan of your physical vaccination card
  • Scanned copy of your vaccination card
  • Scannable digital vaccination pass

To assist the process of verifying vaccination, please have your proof of vaccination ready to show our team prior to being seated indoors. We appreciate your patience as we work to adhere to this new city mandate.

I am fully vaccinated but I got my vaccine in another country. Does my proof of vaccination from another country allow me to sit indoors?

Yes.

I don’t have proof of vaccination, can I dine outside?

Yes! All guests, vaccinated and unvaccinated, are welcome to dine outside in San Francisco.  Outdoor seating is available on a first-come-first-served basis and cannot be reserved. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

I don’t have proof of vaccination, can I show a recent negative COVID test?

No. Per San Francisco city mandate, a negative COVID test is not acceptable for indoor dining. Diners must show proof of vaccination to dine indoors.

I am vaccinated but I don’t have proof of vaccination with me. How can I get proof quickly?

For California residents, the easiest way to pull up proof of vaccination if you don’t have it with you is to visit myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov, enter your first and last name, date of birth, and an email or cell phone number associated with your vaccine record. This should produce a QR code to show our team as proof of vaccination and we will be happy to seat you indoors.

After I show proof of vaccination, do I still have to wear a mask?

Yes. Per San Francisco mandates, masks are required for ALL guests indoors when not eating or drinking.

My child is under 12 years old and is not eligible for vaccination. Can they dine with me inside?

Yes. Per San Francisco city mandate, children under 12 years old can dine inside with their fully vaccinated party.

I was vaccinated in another country and I am coming to visit the United States. Does my proof of vaccination count?

Yes.

We look forward to welcoming you in soon! If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected]
